Principal's Message

Welcome to Bunker Hill!

As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, we are excited to continue building a Culture of Excellence at Bunker Hill Elementary—one where every student is known, valued, challenged, and supported, and where our staff are empowered to lead, grow, and make a difference.

At the heart of our work is our commitment to High-Quality Instruction (HQI). We want every classroom to be a place where students do more than complete assignments—they think deeply, engage in meaningful discourse, collaborate, problem-solve, and take ownership of their learning. Through intentional planning, cognitively engaging tasks, Building Thinking Classrooms, and deep-learning practices, we will continue to create learning experiences that challenge and inspire every student.

Equity, belonging, and relationships remain central to who we are. We are committed to ensuring that every student has access to rigorous instruction, meaningful support, and opportunities to succeed in a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive environment.

We know our greatest success comes through partnership. By working together with our students, staff, families, and community, we can continue to grow, celebrate progress, and ensure that every Bunker Hill Bear reaches their highest potential.
